What Is Telephone Collections Training?

This course will enable delegates to confidently deal with customers on the telephone and bring collection calls to a satisfactory conclusion, meaning more money coming in and less bad debt or litigation. By the end of the course delegates will be able to be more confident in dealing with customers who owe money and persuade them to pay their outstanding debt, and so be able to bring collection calls to a satisfactory conclusion. Use an organised approach to each stage of a collections call, from preparation through to follow-up actions. Recognise the importance of good verbal and vocal skills on the telephone. Take/make well-managed collections calls with a greater degree of confidence. Recognise when customers are seeking to avoid payment.
